Apply stickers correctly

How can I stick stickers? Stickers are a great way to decorate your car, window, sign or to spread a message. One way to apply decals is by dry bonding. This method is particularly suitable for lettering and motifs that have been cut out of foil. Here are a few steps that can help you apply your stickers perfectly:

  1. Preparation: Prepare the required accessories. You will need a plastic squeegee, a sharp knife or scissors, a folding rule, removable tape and possibly a hair dryer for uneven surfaces.

  2. Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the area where you want to apply the sticker to remove grease and dirt.

  3. Layout: Place the decal on the surface you want to apply it to and make sure it is straight. Use the peel-off tape to temporarily hold the decal in place.

  4. Sticking: Remove the protective film from the back of the sticker and stick it in the desired place. Use the plastic squeegee to smooth down the sticker and squeeze out any air bubbles.

  5. Finishing: Remove the peelable tape and check that the decal is properly adhered and is straight.

Note that it is important to apply stickers at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C, avoid direct sunlight and strong winds and do not apply in dusty areas.
